How would you reboot the Star Trek Movie and TV franchise?
What kind of Star Trek franchise would you create if you rebooted the old/new franchise? I’m not quite sure what I would do but it would be similar to what they did with the Brendan Frasier movie Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D where we already have a fictional franchise like Star Trek and then discover that it’s real.

The ‘rebooting’ you mention has been done already by J.J. Abrams with the blessing of the orignal Star Trek cast from the 1960’s and Majal Roddenberry who died during production. (she is the computer voice and also remarked that ‘Gene would have loved this’-refering to the new movie).
There is a second film in the making, as we speak, that should be released in 2011.
Personally, I can hardly wait!

I would make several series, one from the Romulan, Vulcan, and Klingon perspectives.
We have only gotten one side of the story, lets see it through someone else’s eyes..
