Christians, when Jesus comes back, only half (the 5 wise virgins) of the Christians are ready for Him?
Jesus said that we don’t know the day nor the hour,… So compare this with one of the Lord’s Sabbaths (before new moon) within a 2day period. But know it is sometime within that 2day period.
Compare with the parable of the 5wise virgins and the 5foolish virgins.
Five were watching & ready with their oil lamps full… five were foolish and trying to find the oil in the wrong place.
So only half of the Bride of Christ (the Church) will be ready when He ‘catches us up’?
Also compare that those who were not ready and He came like a thief in the night. One caught up, the other left behind.
So really? Only 1/2 of the Bride of Christ will be ready and watching with oil full in their lamps?
I asked Jesus in prayer this question.
And then understanding how simple it really is. (Thinking about your answers also.)
Jesus said that He doesn’t know the 5 foolish virgins. How come? Because they were never spiritually born of God. So there was not the spiritual connection.
But there was some oil that rubbed off on them from Christians. & the oil comes from God. They didn’t realize it came from the Father, through faith in Jesus.
They don’t believe in being ‘born again’. So their hearts (spirits) are not restored with God. That Jesus doesn’t know them spiritually. Since they were never spiritually born of God.
So it is that simple. These were never spiritually born of God. Jesus doesn’t know them.
Those in tune with the signs of the times and with Jesus, are those who are spiritually born of God.
So what about those who were born of God, but are being disobedient Christians?
PROPHET JOHN,
WHO IS THE NAME WE ARE TO CALL UPON TO BE SAVED?
No, those who want to be with the groom will think they are ready but will have forgotten to fill their lamps with oil.
Then as we see in Matthew 25:12 those without the oil He will overlook because He NEVER knew them.
Essentially there are people who think they have a relationship with Christ but they do not. They delude themselves with their self righteousness and it’s sad because Christ is waiting so patiently for them. He is eager to know them, but by their choice they will not.
Ironic. Our Christian brothers and sisters should be careful about the stones they cast, for they too will be judged. They should focus on taking the planks out of their eyes before worrying about the slivers in others’.
Only God is the judge of who He does and does not know, not us. God bless those who know Him, God greatly bless those who we never thought they knew Him and God have mercy on those who think they know Him but have lost themselves amongst the rules of man.
Just because someone jumps around saying "I’m a Christian! I’m a Christian!" doesn’t mean they are. Just because someone prances around saying "I’m going to heaven and you’re going to hell!" doesn’t mean they will. The Bible makes this crystal clear. Only God decides who’s in and who’s out.
God bless us all, show us all Grace and Mercy.
Peace.

Update: Thank you for sharing your prayerful insight! Well, it is easy for us to worry about other Christians who are constantly sinning. We worry about them, we want to suppor them, and sometimes we catch ourselves wondering if they are truly right with God– if they truly have a spiritual relationship with Him because they keep repeating the same mistakes.
If we stop and pray and just know that He is God the answer comes so beautifully and understood. We truly do not know another’s innermost, private thoughts. We truly do not know the state of their hearts and spirits. Even if it is our spouse, best friend, child, sibling, etc. Only God does. We do not fully understand, nor could we ever, the struggles another goes through. It is not so easy for someone to express to another their most intimate thoughts and emotions that come from deep within the soul. All we know is that there is a struggle and the best way to help is by Love: Extend love, grace, and mercy. Pray for that perosn and pray for ourselves to be the best beacon of light we can. Be supportive and encouraging. Find hope in Christ and trust His promise. Have faith in the power of the Lord and feel at peace knowing in your heart that God can and will do all the things to help the ones we care for (i.e. all creation) in all the many ways that we ourselves cannot. Besides, God says for us not to worry- it’s His job.
Blessings.

Not all "Christians" are Christians. Only spirit filled believers will be ready on judgment day. The time to make sure you are ready is now.

As a Christian, this is my best explanation of the parable and what it’s significance is.
The parable, which does carry and apocalyptic theme, is saying that the 5 virgins who were ready and prepared for the arrival were included in the ceremony while the foolish ones were left out as they scrambled in futility to find oil when it was already too late.
This is not to say that half of Christians will stay behind and the others will go with Christ. The story is referring to all of humankind.
The 5 wise virgins represent all true Christians, who are prepared for God’s arrival and get to partake in the "ceremony."
The foolish virgins represent the non-believers who are here at the time of God’s arrival. Christians know that those who do not believe in God, like the foolish virgins, have spent their lifetimes trying to find true fulfilment (oil for their lamps) in the wrong places because it can only come from peace that comes from faith in God.
It is important to note that the 1/2 ratio is merely for the story. God is not saying that upon his arrival exactly half of the people can come while half must stay. It is God’s desire that EVERYONE can come to Heaven. God made all humans with the sole purpose to exist as the glory of his creation. Indeed, we are the fruits of his labor, but we are doomed to sin because of the forbidden fruit that was eaten by Eve. That is why God sent Jesus to take the fall for the humans and pay the ultimate sacrifice. Accepting this truth and having faith and trust in God is our ticket to eternal life in heaven.
God judges all humans when their time is over on earth and they either go to heaven or they suffer forever in hell. Our time is over either when we die or when he comes back to earth, and this parable is saying to be prepared.

VIRGIN MARY is the QUEEN OF THE VIRGINS. Today at this endtime period with its sinful generations, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST has sent to us HIS MOTHER and OUR MOTHER TOO, VIRGIN MARY, to show, lead and teach us the way step by step towards THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as VIRGIN MARY leads men to HER SON and THE LORD JESUS CHRIST leads men to GOD. VIRGIN MARY on one hand, as THE LADY OF THE ROSARY so, all those who are praying the rosary is the way how THE HOLY SPIRIT teaches every man every step towards GOD. Thus, the HOLY SPIRIT teaches them (men) interiorly. But only half of these called Virgins praying called to pray the Rosary will persevere with their prayers serving as the fuel of their lamps or their hearts.Note all souls are she thus, they are called virgins in the parable. Their hearts were also consecrated to THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS: THE HOLY SPIRIT and HIS SPOUSE- AND THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY thus, their were hearts were lit by the sparks of the two BLAZING SACRED HEARTS and so these are their lamps in the parable of the 10 virgins where one half persevered to the end praying the rosary and at the 2nd coming of THE LORD JESSUS CHRIST in the year 3500 (not refering to the day nor the hour which no one knows), their souls will be raptured to heaven to meet or be the receiving party of the coming KING OF KINGS. These 5 wise virgins or one half of those called and persevered praying the rosary willl be led by VIRGIN MARY and as Queen of the Prophets will be assisted by prophets Elijah and Moses as the receiving party of the coming bridegroom. Those who did not persevere praying the rosary their grace or the lamps in their hearts sparked by THE TWO SACRED HEARTS died as they were taken by satan when he passed them by as in the parable of the sower by the wayside. Also to be born again is to take the Eucharist THE BODY AND THE BLOOD OF CHRIST where all graces, richness and love of GOD are stored in IT and as one partakes GOD, HIMSELF and be one with GOD. Thus, there is no other way of being born again except through the Eucharist and so do not look for it anywhere else anymore. THANK GOD; PRAISE GOD; FEAR GOD; GLORIFIY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD

That’s a pretty good analogy but I dare say it will be much less than that if you consider that the world is presently only at 33% Christians and of that small percentage many who THINK or BELIEVE they are Christian ARE NOT ! Remember, to be a Christian means to strive to live as Christ , at least at some point in their lives. I would hope that many would settle into the reality of accepting that they did or do not "live" as Christ and later in their lives they would settle in to doing so.
