Bloodline (1979)
IMDB rating: 4.20
Plot: Sam Roffe, president of a multi-national pharmaceutical corporation, is killed while mountain-climbing. It is first determined to be an accident, but Inspector Max Hormung later deduces that Roffe was murdered. Sam’s daughter Elizabeth assumes control of the company, and while traveling through Europe she immediately becomes a target as well. Suspicion falls on the Roffe cousins, all of whom want to go public with the company and sell their stock at a huge profit. Since this would be against her father’s wishes, Elizabeth rejects their advice and decides to keep the company within the family. As Inspector Hormung investigates the background of the cousins, more attempts are made on Elizabeth’s life. Hoping to reveal the guilty party, Hormung is able to connect these attempts to a series of murders on prostitutes, which are recorded on snuff films.

Why do the BNP only acknowlege the Anglo Saxons in their 'history'?
for some reaso nthey seem to venerate the anglo saxons as the ‘true people of this country’, which was probably the case 1050 years ago, but what makes them all so confident that they have a pure uninterrupted anglo bloodline? when there had been celts and romans and etc… including the last 1000 years since William I, i dont see how there anglo roots have survived all this time, which they like to propagate as fact, which it is not.
and at any rate im sure nick griffin has welsh ancestry
anyway, what makes ‘anglo saxons’ more ‘english’ than any other peoples that invaded this island over time? i fail to see what it is
Well they need some ethnicity to cling onto…

they are against anyone who has ever immigrated to this country basically
i fail to see what it is too when people who are not Anglo Saxons are just as English and proud to be so

does it really matter. they will never get alot of power.
just get over it, and care about other things which actually mean something

They are a deluded lot.

I think they like the ‘Germanic’ connection, quite honestly.

Anglo Saxons = English people from England
The BNP is the British National Party - Britain = England, Scotland, Wales (and Unionists in Northern Ireland)
Why exactly would they only acknowledge Anglo-Saxons? If that was the case they would be the "English National Party" not the "British National Party".
Would you care to clarify your question?

I’ve wondered this to be honest. Despite being pro BNP I can’t see where you can draw a line. I think, like a lot of people who are doing a ‘protest vote’, that it’s easier to look at where things went crap recently. I think trying to trace a bloodline is pointless as probably most countries in the world have a mixed up history. I’d say it’s more important to look at what’s going to badly affect the ‘true people of this country’, the ones who don’t want to see it ruined, overcrowded, and dragged backwards, whatever colour they are. Hopefully changing their membership policy will help decide. I might even join then.

why shouldnt they? people have moved around over the years. what the BNP are complaining about is the massive increase in immigration to this very small island over the last ten years.

The BNP revel in operating within a narrow corridor termed ’selective mentality’… and it helps their cause.

The British National Party exists to secure a future for the indigenous peoples of these islands in the North Atlantic which have been our homeland for millennia.
We use the term indigenous to describe the people whose ancestors were the earliest settlers here after the last great Ice Age and which have been complemented by the historic migrations from mainland Europe.
The migrations of the Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Danes, Norse and closely related kindred peoples have been, over the past few thousands years, instrumental in defining the character of our family of nations.

How much research did you actually do?

Got to say that the question is a bit of a yawn, not least for the fact that the BNP are not exactly relevant in mainstream politics…..however I pick out one sentence (or part sentence) to make a little point about the whole question…..
"and at any rate im sure that nick griffin has welsh ancestry"
So what?
The BNP stands as the "British" National Party…..not the "English" National Party.
That means that it includes English, Welsh, Scottish, and even Irish heritage and stock, which means Celts, Romans and all sorts as well as Anglo Saxons.
Kind of screws up your question I’m afraid……
Sorry…..

Paul quite rightly defines those whom the BNP was set up to support:
"the people whose ancestors were the earliest settlers here after the last great Ice Age and which have been complemented by the historic migrations from mainland Europe. The migrations of the Celts, Anglo-Saxons, Danes, Norse and closely related kindred peoples have been, over the past few thousands years, instrumental in defining the character of our family of nations."
It’s a long winded way of saying "whites only".

‘What makes Anglo-Saxons more English than any other peoples that invaded this island over time?’ England derives from Anglo-Land as in land of the Anglos that’s what makes Anglo-Saxons the most English.
I don’t support the BNP, I see the picking and choosing of the races you like as a crude form of racial lottery: you have no control over ‘winning’, you either have the right ticket or you don’t. What makes a White Anglo-Saxon more beneficial to Britain and Britain’s economy than a Black Muslim?
